What you would do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Developing and maintaining SAP applications using .NET, ASP.NET, Java, and Spring Boot
- Designing and implementing APIs and microservices to support SAP system integration
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Writing and optimising SQL queries and managing data pipelines for data quality and integrity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned to business objectives
- Contributing to code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
- Working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP where applicable
- Supporting system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
What you could bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in SAP Application Development
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (.NET, ASP.NET, Java, or Python)
- Working knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment practices
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Nice-to-have
- SAP Certified Professional qualification
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or SAP RISE
- Knowledge of containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Familiarity with BPMN, UML, or data modelling standards
- React or front-end framework experience
- Linux and Windows system administration
