Working with a global renewable energy construction company
Our client, a global renewable energy construction company, manages many power plants worldwide. One of its projects was a major wind farm in the American midwest that will remove nearly two million tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
When a design hitch was discovered in the blueprints for turbines at a US wind farm construction site, the energy company required expertly trained individuals for its oversight team to ensure project continuity.
SThree has a reputation for being able to source talent in a broad range of energy specialised fields, from engineering to health and safety and administrative disciplines. We were hired to find the people the client needed.
“Most of all, I appreciate the flexibility of SThree’s professionals. They had individuals available in short order who were ready for full engagement on the site. Not only that, but SThree hires were able to help on other job sites if necessary.” Wind Energy Client Project Manager
SThree provided personnel with the precise skill sets needed, including civil and mechanical engineers, quality control and electrical experts. Quick deployment of talent made it much easier for the project owner to fill vacancies on the job site and keep momentum going even through the turbine design revisions.
“I know contractors’ skills often don’t match exactly what we’re looking for. With SThree, I haven’t seen that mismatch yet,” said the project manager.
The wind farm became operational on schedule and as planned. It serves as another example of SThree’s commitment to helping renewable energy companies succeed in their mission to build a lower-carbon global economy.
