How our US team made the 'Training Magazine’s Top 125' and why training and investing in our people is crucial to our future as a successful organization.

The impact of training and development

Nearly ten years ago in the economic downturn of 2008, many companies looked for ways to cut costs. For some companies, the first cost that sticks out like a sore thumb is training, if they haven’t found a way to identify its impact on revenue. I, Justin Reinert, Director of Talent, was a part of one of those companies.

In the following years, some companies actually started to see that cost cutting negatively impacts their bottom line as customer satisfaction plummeted and individual’s profitability dropped.

Making the Training Magazine’s Top 125

There were a total of 23 companies that were new to the ranks of their training elite, and Specialist Staffing Group made our debut at 101.
