A financial services client needed to find tech candidates for their Hong Kong office and had challenging diversity objectives. They were keen to improve their gender, ethnicity and nationality mix by sourcing people from different backgrounds.
Timing was challenging and diverse candidates, especially female developers, are difficult to source as there is constant, high demand. Using our existing networks, we mapped out the market, identifying those immediately available, while developing relationships with new candidates. One approach was to reach out to returning-to-work mothers who often experience difficulty rebooting their careers.
As a result, we helped our client fill multiple tech roles with talent that had the diverse profile they were looking for while providing exceptional career opportunities for our candidates.
