On 17th November 2021, SThree Japan wins two TIARA Awards – The Healthcare & Life Sciences Recruitment Company of the Year and The Best Large Company to Work for. We are also nominated for another two awards as a finalist, which are The IT & Technology Recruitment Company of the Year and The Growth Company of the Year.
The TIARA Awards (formerly known as the Recruitment International Awards) is the biggest and longest-running recruitment industry event globally. They hold annual awards to recognise innovation and best practices in the Japanese recruitment industry. It was unfortunate the award didn’t take place in 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic, but we are very happy to see the annual event coming back this year in a virtual format.
What makes us “The Healthcare & Life Sciences Recruitment Company of the Year”
As a world pure-play recruitment company focusing on the STEM markets, SThree operates four different specialist brands in Japan. One of the brands is Real Life Sciences, whose key focus industries are pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices and diagnostics.
It was the second time for us to be recognised for this award, but our healthcare & life sciences business has seen a tremendous growth since we won this award for the first time in 2018. The growth is represented by 58% of headcount increase while keeping close to 100% retention in 2021, as well as record-breaking performance. We received “Top Agent” from Abbott in 2019, “Best Recruiter” from Medtronic in 2021 by adding an exceptional value to their business through our recruitment support and “Best Agency” from candidates by achieving highest number of placements with Recruit Direct Scout (formerly known as Career Carver), a Japanese job portal focusing on high-quality candidates.
