Job Purpose:
To manage and develop a highly engaged and productive recruitment team, encouraging a service-led approach to understanding and delivering to the needs of our clients and candidates. You will lead from the front, ensuring delivery of sales targets and consistent revenue growth, while maintaining personal business contribution; in line with the Specialist Staffing Group service attributes.
As a Team Manager within our company, you will be a player-coach with split responsibilities between:
Management:
- Managing day-to-day activities of team members including managing productivity, performance & professional conduct, driving high standards at all times
- Perform recruitment duties, from sourcing quality candidates and guiding them through the hiring process with our major enterprise clients.
- Approaching people with integrity and taking necessary steps to address behaviors that may pose a risk to engagement and retention of our clients or colleagues
- Delivering successful onboarding and continued development; dedicating time for training and coaching activities; providing honest and timely feedback to enable improved performance; setting consultants up for success
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of sector, markets, trends and competitor landscape to aid relevant business planning and valuable client interaction
- Responding to client and candidate complaints, ensuring all communications are handled within the required time-frame, issues resolved in a timely manner and acting as a point of escalation for complex matters when required in the interests of service delivery and customer retention
- Actively seeks customer feedback (surveys, testimonials) to drive continuous service improvement
Recruitment:
- Business development of new and existing clients across industry verticals through meetings, networking, events and other sales techniques
- Managing the candidate delivery and client relations of the recruitment life cycle. This process will give you the opportunity to not only work closely alongside experienced recruiters, but also with talented candidates and the globally recognized companies looking to hire them.
- Identifying the best candidates for niche job opportunities. This includes relationship building, writing advertisements, qualifying candidates, selling candidates on unique opportunities, pitching, and negotiating.
- Managing the candidate's experience from submitting their resume to a client through post-placement check-ins.
- Closing candidates on job offers.
- Overseeing the onboarding process for recently hired candidates.
- Completing post-placement check-ins with hired candidates, communicating feedback from the client, and ensuring our contractors have everything they need to complete their day-to-day activities. Maintaining these relationships allows us to generate and establish repeat business.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in agency staffing/recruitment
- Mangement Experience
