The requirements
Given the highly regulated sector our client operates in, they were looking for a partner to help them with a regulatory change programme for LIBOR, which was once the main interest rate benchmark used by financial markets. With the deadline of the 23rd of June 2023 to move away from LIBOR approaching, our client needed to source highly skilled, niche resources fast. They required Quantitative Developers, Quantitative Analysts and Data Scientists to help them transition out of the old regulation.
How we helped
To meet the regulatory deadline, we introduced our client to our Project Services and Solutions offering which enabled them to scale project teams of resources quickly. Where relevant, additional service levels were also agreed. For example, milestone reporting was implemented to guarantee the work was delivered successfully and on time. In conjunction with our level of service, our tenured experience sourcing sought-after specialists within the quantitative talent market allowed us to support our client through the changes.
The impact
With the deadline and delivery date coming in June, the project is currently still ongoing, but in full swing and on track to be completed as expected. To date (April 2023) we have placed over 25 consultants, including Quantitative Developers and Analysts who are responsible for building and validating new models that are required by the new regulatory changes.
