Our Impact
At SThree, we connect STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) experts with dynamic organisations across the world, elevating expertise and energising progress.
This includes advising our clients on their diversity and inclusion hires.
Engineering within the life sciences industry is highly male-dominant. There were many stereotypes regarding male candidates being more technically adept and assertive.
We worked closely with our client to determine their hiring concerns, before mapping out our proposed candidate’s previous successes to pitch her profile in a way that eliminated bias.
Ultimately, we connected our client with a suitable engineering candidate, who can also offer different perspectives as a female leader.
It’s inspiring to see our team empower female candidates and help them break professional biases.
