Why SThree?

They had highlighted us as a potential partner for their digital transformation journey based on previous experience in our ability to provide highly skilled resources at pace with packaged additional value-added services.

The requirements

The Cumberland, required a partner to support them in their delivery of a 4-year digital transformation programme, which would see the organisation provide new digital channels for their customers. They were keen to partner with a supplier who could offer project resources via a flexible solution while taking on additional responsibility on the quality of work delivered on time.

How we helped The Cumberland

We held an initial discovery workshop with senior stakeholders, which enabled our Project Services team to understand The Cumberland’s programme needs. We established the key service levels to be deployed and shared our methodology in delivering our standard service.

The workshop also helped understand some of the key challenges that were being faced and how we would mitigate these challenges through our PS&S solutions.

The Cumberland had some initial requirements that required urgent attention and these needs were also qualified in the workshop and subsequently delivered. Having taken the time to understand the business need, our Talent Engagement function have created a virtual bench of the most sought-after specialists in their area and as a result, we have so far deployed 7 resources across multiple projects with the ‘New Cumberland’ programme.

The impact

Our deployed resources have been positioned as key members of the programme at the start of a long-term digital transformation journey. A combination of Project Manager’s, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, as well as Data and Heads of Cloud resources have all been extended beyond the initial engagements highlighting the value they are adding.
