Our client (a law firm) was going through a large-scale transformation that is transforming their ability to service their customers as well as giving world-class service. Including operational changes that will streamline the internal processes and stand out from the competition.
The client had a specific deficit in technology expertise to fulfil and deliver on two key projects.
One to deliver a Cloud Migration move to Azure and a further to introduce a new MS Dynamics CRM. These involved significant data elements including data cleansing and the need for the design of bespoke solutions to integrate. Our client did not have the experience and knowledge to understand the new key platforms and therefore the lack of Architecture and DevOps capability to fulfil end to end.
How we helped
For both projects, the client tried to resource/recruit in a conventional manner taking up to 8 weeks at a time to on-board tech professionals. SThree Project Services and Solutions Consultancy with support from Progressive introduced our Consultancy and methodology model which can at pace, stand up full Teams of experienced and trusted Interims to readily deploy and deliver assured outcomes under SOW. Leveraging our extensive, trusted expert, cost-effective Virtual Talent bench we assembled and deployed a Full Team in 10 days.
Additionally, a further interim need was identified during one of the projects and our proactive Resource planning progress and report monitoring methodology, quickly identified, and had at ready 3 expert profiles available with capacity availability, which mitigated project downtime and ensured continuity of work as a result.
Our Quality Control and monitoring against deliverables saw a 100% extension rate throughout the programmes. This saw a regular RAG status review to ensure the programmes were on track, as well as a review of the burn rate for effective budgeting.
The knowledge transfer piece was also key - a robust handover and upskilling of internal staff was undertaken to retain the expertise in-house.
